American Heritage soccer camp utilizes a cooperative style of coaching where players and coaches create relationships on an individual basis while reinforcing the skills needed to be a good teammate. The coaches understand the different levels each player may bring to the field and are skilled in adapting their coaching as needed. Our camp is for ages 12-13; players are grouped by age and skill levels. Coaches encourage the players to relax and have fun while improving their skills. There is an indoor soccer area, so players can continue to play rain or shine. On certain days players use the pool for some fun in the sun and to cool off, and there is a game room for downtime or a break from the sun. American Heritage soccer camp coaches want their players to make memories and friendships they will never forget.
Coach Cindy Marcial coached soccer for 20 years and has been the soccer coach at American Heritage for nine years. In college, she won three national championships and was named All-American. Under Coach Marcial’s leadership at American Heritage, the Patriots have won five state titles. She was voted Best Coach in America for Girls Soccer by USA Today, All USA Coach of the year and and All- state, All-American Coach Coach Marcial loves to coach camps because she can work with each player on fundamental skills and improving their game. Kids come to Soccer Camp at all different levels, and they love it here.
Camper groupings vary by program. Day Camp programs will be grouped by age/grade/gender, Specialty Programs are grouped together by age, interest, and/ or skill level. Programs are not guaranteed and require a minimum enrollment. Campers are supervised at all times by our energetic and fully-trained staff. Our counselors are carefully selected based on experience, character, and leadership. Every staff member is background checked, as we continue to maintain the highest level of safety and security on campus. At American Heritage Day Camp we do our very best to make sure our staff is placed with the appropriate age group to ensure a successful and fun summer.
